Nicole Auclair helped two Fighting Scots programs reach lofty heights, including—at the time of her induction—the women’s golf team’s only Midwest Conference title.
At the 2002 MWC golf meet, Auclair earned all-conference honors with a 10th-place finish as the Scots captured the team title. Auclair, who as a junior shot a career-low round of 86, repeated her All-MWC honors her senior year.
On the softball diamond, Auclair proved she was equally adept at hitting a moving target. Her .373 career batting average included a .420 mark as a freshman, when she earned one of her three All-MWC softball honors. The star shortstop is all over the list of top 10 career offense marks at Monmouth, including third in runs (95) and doubles (30), fifth in slugging (.576), hits (135), RBI (75) and steals (25) and sixth in homers (13) and average. The Scots won a then-record 22 games her junior year.
