Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)

What is a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee?
SAAC is made up of student-athlete representatives. The committee is a vehicle to promote communication between the athletic administration and student-athletes.

Who are the members of SAAC?
One student-athlete per varsity program, chosen by the Head Coach.

What is the purpose of SAAC?
•Generating a student-athlete voice within the department
•Soliciting student-athlete response to NCAA legislation
•Suggesting potential NCAA legislation Organizing community efforts
•Creating a vehicle for student-athlete representation on campus wide committees (i.e. Student Government)
