Scots Spilt Conference Matches On Busy Weekend of Tennis Action

The Fighting Scots played host to three different teams this past weekend.

On Saturday, amidst difficult weather conditions, the Scots beat conference foe Beloit College 5-4.

Senior Morgan Holle teamed up with sophomore McKenzie DeVilder to defeat the Beloit duo 8-5, setting the tone for the remainder of the matches.

The Scots would win four of the six singles matches, with senior Katherine Hinman's victory in 1 singles. Additional victors in the single matches included Holle (6-4, 6-4) , Haley Johnston (6-2, 6-1), and senior Natalie Curtis (6-4,6-3).

Later in the day, Monmouth would fall to Lake Forest College 9-0.

On Sunday, the Scots hosted senior day for their three soon-to-be-graduates. Weather conditions granted Katherine Hinman, Morgan Holle, and Natalie Curtis a wonderful afternoon sendoff on their home courts. Monmouth fell to Elmhurst 9-0 in the non-conference matches.
