Box Score The Monmouth College women's tennis team lost 6-1 at Luther College on Sunday. Senior Ivana Stefanova (Streamwood, Illinois) stayed unbeaten on the season in singles with a straight sets win. 

Stefanova won 6-1, 6-2 at No, 1 singles to move to 5-0 on the season. Jenny Nelson (Wentzville, Missouri) lost 6-4, 6-1 at No. 2 and Kimber Calvert (Paris, Illinois) fell 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3. Tiah Riggs (Vincennes, Indiana) lost 6-2, 6-4 at No. 4 and Delaney Albarram (Chicago, Illinois) lost 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5. Korryn Keehner (Staunton, Illinois) lost 6-0, 6-1 at No. 6

In doubles, Stefanova/Nelson lost 6-2, Calvert/Riggs lost 6-4 and Albarram/Keehner lost 6-1. 

"Ivana continues to play amazing and improve match to match," said head coach Brian Dahlstrom. "This team continues to show a willingness to lengthen points and battle. We are looking forward to the rest of our conference meets this fall."

MONMOUTH MOMENTS: Stefanova has 35 career singles wins and is 5-0 in singles this season…Luther is in their first season in the Midwest Conference…The only other meeting between the two programs was a Luther win in the 2010-11 season…The Scots are off until playing at Illinois College on September 22.
