The Monmouth College men's soccer team dropped their home opener 9-0 to Wisconsin-Whitewater on Friday. The Fighting Scots are 0-2 on the season heading into a Sunday afternoon game at Eureka.
The Warhawks scored in the seventh minute and made it 2-0 just two minutes later. A goal with 13 seconds left in the half made it 3-0 at the break.
The visitors scored four minutes into the second half and went on to add five more goals for the 9-0 win. Freshman goalkeeper
Calvin Cotton (Hernando, Mississippi) made eight saves. .
