Monmouth College junior
Caleb Toberman (Clifton, Illinois) won the weight throw at the Keck Select meet hosted by Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday. Toberman's performance led the Scots against competition including Division I schools.
Men
Toberman (Clifton, Illinois) won the weight throw with a toss of 18.40m, a new career high and the sixth best throw in Monmouth history. It currently ranks as the best throw by a Midwest Conference competitor this season and the ninth best in all of Division III. Toberman also won the weight throw last week at Grinnell and this marks the fourth straight meet in which a Monmouth male has won the weight throw this season. Toberman also finished fourth in the shot put at 14.05m
Reed Wilson (Normal, Illinois) finished second in the pole vault at 4.70m, the top performance by a Division III competitor as the event was won by Western Illinois. The 4.70 is just shy of Wilson's season high of 4.71m from last week.
