The Monmouth College track and field teams had eight student-athletes named Division III Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) this week. To qualify for CSC Academic All-District, student-athletes must be at least sophomore standing, have a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and rank in the top 50 in the Midwest Region in at least one solo event.
On the men's side, senior
Blake Orwig (Wyoming, Illinois) is a third-time selection while
Gunner Bryant (Curryville, Missouri) is a repeat selection who also made the All-District team for football. Senior
Luke Reavis (Buena Vista, Colorado) was a first-time selection as was sophomore
Matthew Bright (Macomb, Illinois).Â
The women's team also had four selections as
Kayla Braun (Evansville, Illinois) made the team for a third time and fellow senior
Jillian Toth (El Paso, Illinois) was a repeat selection. Senior
Madison Rusk (Annawan, Illinois) picked up her second honor after also being on the team as a sophomore in 2024. Sophomore
Kyra Bivins (Esmond, Illinois) was a first-time selection.
Overall, the Scots had a record 54 CSC Academic All-District selections for the 2025-26 season, one more than last year.
