Three Monmouth College Track & Field athletes competed on Saturday with
Jillian Toth (El Paso, Illinois) at the prestigious Drake Relays while Paige Luntesford (Cairo, Missouri) and
Xander Stoub (Palos Heights, Illinois) ran at the Drake Alternate, hosted by Wisconsin-Whitewater.
At the Drake Relays, Toth moved up to fifth in the national rankings with a season-best hammer throw of 53.73m. That throw is just below her PR from last season of 53.78 and was good enough to finish ninth on Saturday. She was second among all D3 throwers.

Luntsford finished sixth in the women's race in 19:03.98, just three seconds off her PR for the event. She was first among all D3 runners, finishing behind D1 competitors from Marquette and Wisconsin-Milwaukee.Â
