Monmouth held league-leading Concordia Wisconsin below their scoring average, but didn't have quite enough offense in a 9-4 loss to the Falcons Saturday evening.

The Scots surrendered three first quarter goals, but blanked the Falcons in the second quarter to trail 3-0 at the half. Concordia added another goal in the third quarter before
Croy Seagren drilled Monmouth's first goal a minute later. The Scots put on a three-goal flurry in the final two minutes, but ran out of time for the comeback.
Grant Miller turned in a 15-save effort as the Falcons fire doff 47 shots, placing 24 on goal.
