Monmouth got out of the gate quickly in a 14-9 win at Cornell on a rainy Wednesday night.

Croy Seagren scored all four of his goals in the first half and
Mitch Perez notched two in the first 18 minutes as the Scots took a 6-0 lead in the second quarter. Monmouth's defense kept Cornell out of the goal until the 4:07 mark of the second period.
Chase Cranford notched a pair of goals in the first four minutes of the second half on his way to matching Seagren's four-goal night. The Scots put 19 shots on goal, scoring on all but five. In goal,
Grant Miller turned aside a dozen shots as the Scots held a comfortable margin despite surrendering three goals in the final 4:35.
