Monmouth set two team records in Thursday's 10-2 win over Clarke University at April Zorn Memorial Stadium.
 
The Scots fired off 60 shots while holding the Pride to just 7 – both team records – as Monmouth scored in each quarter. Clarke followed Chase Cranford's first of two goals for the Scots with one of their own midway through the first quarter, but it was all Monmouth after that. Croy Seagren netted two of his team-high four goals within a five-minute span of the first half as the Scots rolled off nine unanswered scores. In all, six Scots scored in the game, putting 37 shots on goal. Monmouth, which won 11 of 15 faceoffs were also successful on 18 of their 20 clear attempts.
 
Monmouth opens a three-game conference road trip this weekend with a Saturday date at Marian before meeting Beloit next Wednesday and the Milwaukee School of Engineering next Saturday.
