Lucas Sondgeroth is 2-for-2 on Penalty Kicks and his latest couldn't have come at a better time, hitting the game-winner in overtime for a 1-0 victory Sunday over Beloit at Peacock Park.
 
Monmouth fired off 20 shots in the contest, but did not find the back of the net until the 93^rd minute. Goalkeeper Cadan Glattback kept the Bucs stymied, turning in six saves to set up the decisive goal. Sondgeroth's winner came less than a minute after Augustin MIradna's blast was turned aside by the Beloit keeper who turned in a seven-save day. The win kept Monmouth within two playoff points of the top four in the Midwest Conference standings, tied with Illinois College.
