Monmouth stayed unbeaten on the season with an 83-65 win over Buena Vista University Saturday afternoon at Glennie Gym.
 
Shayne Smith poured in 25 point and Carley Turnbull added a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds as Monmouth led from start to finish. Leading 37-29 at the half, the Scots pulled away and opened a double digit lead with a 13-4 run to open the third quarter. Becca Gallis scored five of her 15 points during the run while Kaitlyn Osmulski came off the bench to pump in 13 points in 21 minutes of action.
 
Monmouth will host Central Sunday morning at 11 a.m. The game, originally scheduled for a 1 p.m. start was moved up due to the predicted winter storm.
