Monmouth is off to a 3-0 start for the first time since 2013 after a convincing 81-54 win over Eureka in the Scots' home opener at Glennie Gym Tuesday night.

The Scots built a double-digit first quarter lead, but the Red Devils rallied back cutting the margin to 19-17 after the first 10 minutes. After Eureka opened the second quarter scoring with a free throw, Monmouth went on a 12-0 run capped by
Jordan Kintigh's two free throws and a bucket inside for a 29-18 lead.
Kaitlyn Osmulski scored three of her 16 points with a 3-pointer just before half to send Monmouth to the locker room with a 36-25 advantage. The Scots kept their foot on the gas after the break and pushed their lead to 21 at 55-34 on another Osmulski three at the 3:59 mark. Monmouth kept the margin at a comfortable range in the final frame to pick up their third straight win.

Carley Turnbull led Monmouth with a 23-point night while
Becca Gallis joined Osmulski and Turnbull in double figures with 11.
