Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Monmouth fell in one slugfest and was clipped by a stolen base in another in Florida, falling to Lebanon Valley 9-4 and 1-0 in a Wednesday doubleheader.
 
A five-run fifth for Lebanon Valley was enough in the opener and the teams combined for 23 hits. The Scots trailed early, but scratched out single runs in the first two innings and trailed 7-2 after two.
 
The Scots kept LVC off the boards in the nightcap until a sixth inning double put the Dutchmen in scoring position. A stolen base and a base hit ensued as Lebanon Valley plated the lone run of the game.
 
Monmouth is set for an afternoon twinbill against Maritime on Thursday.
