Box Score Monmouth scored on all but three possessions in a 61-10 win at Cornell Saturday afternoon to stay atop the Midwest Conference South Division.
The Scots rolled up more than 560 yards of offense while holding Cornell to just 88, only five via the pass.
DeAndre Wright rushed for 117 yards and scored the game's first touchdown, capping a 10-play, 52-yard drive.
Hayden Nelson followed with a seven-yard TD pass to
Austin Hite, capping a 60-yard drive that took another 10 plays.

Cornell answered with a 43-yard field goal early in the second quarter before Monmouth responded with five straight TDs which included a
Micam Smith blocked punt return and an
Easton Schaber 28-yard interception return.
Joey Biel and
Brennan White also kicked field goals during the Scots' scoring binge. The scoring ended with a
Joshua McKenzie-to-
Triston Gibson 89-yard TD pass in the fourth quarter.
The win sets up a South Division showdown next Saturday when the Scots and Lake Forest - also unbeaten in the division - meet in Chicago's north suburbs.
