Box Score Monmouth grabbed sole possession of first place in the Midwest Conference with a 38-14 win over St. Norbert Saturday afternoon at April Zorn Memorial Stadium.

The Scots held the Knights to 142 yards – just seven rushing – while racking up 469 yards of offense and scoring on five of their first six possessions. Monmouth won the field position battle, taking their first three possessions in the first quarter near midfield. St. Norbert began just one of their first five drives beyond their own 25.

DeAndre Wright – who rushed for a game-high 155 yards – scored his first of two TDs on the day, capping an opening drive that took just 63 seconds.
Tanner Matlick threw for 203 yards and  rushed for two scores. Matlick's second touchdown, completed a 60-yard drive that took 6:14 and gave Monmouth a 21-0 lead after the first quarter.
