Logan Gigl scooped up a loose ball on Beloit's first possession and scampered 44 yards for the first score of the game.
Ben Ketchum's hit on Buc's quarterback Danny May knocked the ball free as Monmouth's defense held Beloit to just 241 yards of offense.

Beloit answered on their ensuing possession with a nine-play, 71-yard drive to knot the game at 7-7 in the first quarter. It was the first score in the opening quarter against the Scots since the second week of the season.

D.J. Frank picked off a Bucs pass to open the second quarter and raced 70 yards for the score, giving Monmouth a 17-9 lead. Running back
DeAndre Wright took it from there, rushing for 202 yards and three TDs as Monmouth remained undefeated on the season.
