Box Score Monmouth banged out 16 hits, three of them homeruns, in an 11-2 win at Iowa Wesleyan Wednesday afternoon.
In their first game since returning from Florida, the Scots bats came alive as
Austin Hardy homered in back-to-back at-bats, drivng in four runs and
Alex Kemmer tacked on a solo shot behiind Hardy's second round-tripper.

Ryan Sparks supplied the early runs for the Scots. After the Tigers scratched out a first inning run, Abbott tied the game in the second when his double plated
Raahsaan Fox. Giertz then gave the Scots a 2-1 lead when his ground ball scored
Chase Bair. Sparks then chased Abbott home with a base knock as the Scots plated three runs in the inning on four hits and a pair of errors.
Monmouth added s solo tally in the fourth and two more in the fifth as Abbott and Giertz added two more RBIs from their eighth and ninth spots in the order. Leading 6-2 in the sixth, Hardy connected for a two-out homer before the Scots iced the game with four runs in the eighth on Hardy and Kemmer's homeruns.
