The teams combined for 35 hits, but the Bullets got the most bang for their buck, breaking open a 2-2 game with a 10-run fifth inning. Gettysburg opened the inning with five straight hits to rough up starter Austin Hardy. The Scots countered with three in the sixth, but was held scoreless the rest of the way.

Ryan Sparks picked up a pair of doubles in his three hits for the Scots as Gettysburg outhit Monmouth 21-14.
