Nate Graham

Nate Graham joined the Monmouth College football coaching staff in August 2023. Prior to joining the Scots, Graham was an assistant coach at Argenta-Oreana High School, working with wide receivers and defensive backs in 2022. 

With the Scots, Graham has coached All-MWC wide receivers Nate Thornton and Jackson Bergren during his time with the Scots. Thornton was also an All-Region selection from d3football.com.

A 2021 Monmouth graduate with a degree in physical education and a minor in global health, Graham played for the Fighting Scots from 2017-21 as a four-year varsity letter award winner. In 39 games he hauled in 92 passes for 1,091 yards while scoring 11 touchdowns. Graham also excelled as a returner, finishing with 891 kick return yards and 280 punt return yards in his career for 2,332 all-purpose yards. He ranks top 5 in Scots history in both punt and kick return yards.

Graham caught 42 passes in 2021 with 558 yards and seven touchdowns, earning Second Team All-MWC honors. He caught 24 passes for 210 yards and a touchdown in 2019 while being named All-Conference as a return specialist. Graham had five receptions for 34 yards in the 2019 MWC Championship Game win over St. Norbert. He was the Monmouth College Special Teams MVP and team captain in 2021. 

A native of Monticello, Illinois, Graham also played baseball at Monticello High School. His younger brother Devin was a Monmouth teammate during the 2021 season before graduating in 2023.
