Ivana Stefanova (Streamwood, Illinois) stayed unbeaten on the season in singles with a straight sets win.
Stefanova won 6-1, 6-1 at No, 1 singles to move to 6-0 on the season.
Jenny Nelson (Wentzville, Missouri) lost 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 and
Kimber Calvert (Paris, Illinois) fell 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3.
Tiah Riggs (Vincennes, Indiana) lost 6-3, 6-1 at No. 4 and
Delaney Albarram (Chicago, Illinois) lost 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5.
Korryn Keehner (Staunton, Illinois) lost 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6
In doubles, Stefanova/Nelson lost 7-6 with the tiebreaker going to IC 7-2. Calvert/Riggs lost 6-3 and Albarram/Keehner lost 6-0.
MONMOUTH MOMENTS: Stefanova has 36 career singles wins and is 6-0 in singles this season…She went 4-0 in singles in her career against IC in dual matches, and 2-2 in doubles…The Lady Blues have won the last three matches against the Scots since a 2023 Monmouth win…The Scots host St. Ambrose at 3 p.m. Wednesday in a double meet with the men's teams.
