The Monmouth College women's golf team took eighth place at the SLIAC Championships in Union, Missouri.
Lexie Campbell (Earlville, Illinois) finished 34th overall with a +93 309 total for the three rounds. She shot 103 on Sunday and 104 on Monday before firing a 102 on Tuesday.
Annalyn Lovell (Oneida, Illinois) shot a 107 on Sunday, a 110 on Monday and 112 on Tuesday. She finished in 37th place with a +113 329.
Liz Waymire (Havana, Illinois) shot 116 on Sunday, 115 on Monday and 107 on Tuesday. She finished in 41st place with a +122 338.
Kerigan Lewis (Cambridge, Illinois) carded a 130 on Sunday, 122 on Monday and 115 on Tuesday. She finished in 44th place with a +151 367.
Lucy Raymond (Galesburg, Illinois) shot 133 on Sunday, 132 on Monday and 122 on Tuesday. She finished 46th with a +171 387. The top four scores count for the team score and the Scots shot a +479 to finish in eighth place while Grinnell won the event a +40.
This was the first SLIAC Championships with a team score for the Fighting Scots since 2019. The Scots were five shots behind Blackburn after Sunday's first round and finished 42 shots behind the Beavers and 83 shots ahead of 9th place Eureka. The Scots will next be in action in the spring.
