The Monmouth College women's soccer team played a 0-0 draw at Ripon on Saturday. The Fighting Scots (6-5-3, 2-2-2) have two games left in the regular season, one on the road and one at home.
The only shots in the first half came from Ripon as they put one shot on goal and two wide. Monmouth goalkeeper
Izzy Seipold (Peoria, Illinois) made one save in the first half and both teams had two corners.Â
Seipold made another save 90 seconds into the second half, Ripon kept the pressure on and Seipold made two saves in a two-minute span to keep the game scoreless.
Ali Denton (Saint Peters, Missouri) took the first shot for Monmouth and
Natalie Morrow (Silvis, Illinois) followed with a shot but the game remained 0-0 with 20 minutes left. Seipold made another save with 15 minutes to go and a final save with just under three minutes to play.Â
