For the second straight week,
Caleb Toberman (Clifton, Illinois) and
Maddie Boley (Beecher, Illinois) swept the Midwest Conference Field Performer of the Week awards for the Monmouth College track & field team.
Toberman had another great performance at the Bumble Rumble hosted by St. Ambrose on Saturday. He won the weight throw with a PR of 18.79m, the fifth-best throw in Monmouth history and the best throw in the MWC this season, ranking 4th nationally. Toberman also took second in the shot put (1st among all D3 competitors) with a career-best indoor throw of 15.42m. That throw is the best in MWC this season by more than a meter, 21st nationally and just outside the all-time Monmouth top 10.
Boley turned in another phenomenal weekend at the Bumble Rumble on Saturday. She placed second in the shot put with a throw of 13.29m, a new PR and the fifth-best throw in MC indoor history. Her throw ranks 1st in the MWC this season by a full meter over teammate
Kayla Braun (Evansville, Illinois) and also ranks ninth nationally in D3. Boley took third in the weight throw at 17.10m. Boley ranks first in the MWC in the weight by more than two meters over teammate
