The Monmouth College women's golf team competed in the first round of the 3-day SLIAC Championships on Sunday. The conference tournament is being held at Metamora Fields in Metamora, Illinois with round two on Monday and the final round on Tuesday. 

Annalyn Lovell (Oneida, Illinois) is in 41st place after carding a +37 109 on Sunday. Lexie Campbell (Earlville, Illinois) is right behind her in 42nd place with a +44 116. 

With only two golfers, the Scots do not have enough for a team score. Grinnell leads the team event by 37 shots and they also had the top individual on Sunday with a -2 70. 

Monday's tee times are set for 10 a.m.
