The Monmouth College men's lacrosse team went on the road Thursday night and lost to Augustana 22-3. The game was a makeup contest, originally scheduled for March 15.
Augustana scored four goals in the first eight minutes of the game. The Vikings led 6-0 after the first quarter.

Michael Casey (Chicago, Illinois) got the Scots on the board with 5:58 to go in the first half. Augustana answered with a pair of goals and led 9-1 at half time.
Augustana pushed the lead to 16-1 in the third quarter.
Kai Johnson (Sun Prairie, Wisconsin) scored a man-up goal for the Scots with 1:46 to go in the quarter. Casey had the assist for his second point of the game.
Carlos Hernandez (Billings, Montana) scored for the Scots in the fourth quarter as Augustana added three goals for the 22-3 win.
Nehemiah Declaw (Aurora, Colorado) made 11 saves for Monmouth.
The Scots next play on Saturday, at 3:30 p.m. against Dubuque University. The game at home is the Midwest Lacrosse Conference opener.
