The Monmouth College men's lacrosse team went on the road Wednesday and lost to Division II Quincy University 30-5.

Michael Casey (Chicago, Illinois) got the Scots on the board with 10:53 to go in the first quarter. Goalkeeper
Nehemiah Declaw (Aurora, Colorado) had the assist on the goal but Quincy rattled off the next 17 goals to lead 21-1 at half.
Monmouth scored the first two goals of the third quarter.
Ben LaFrenere (Schaumburg, Illinois) scored the first goal of the half, assisted by fellow freshman
Kai Johnson (Sun Prairie, Wisconsin). Just 38 seconds later,
Carlos Hernandez III (Billings, Montana) made it two goals in a row with an unassisted effort.
Kain Donohoo (St. Charles, Illinois) and
Gavin Conway (Steeleville, Illinois) both scored unassisted goals in the fourth quarter. Declaw made 19 saves in the game.
MONMOUTH MOMENTS: Donohoo has scored in every game this season…He is the Scots all-time assists leader with 35 and ranks 12th in most games played with 32…Casey ranks fourth in career assists with 23 and he is eighth with 29 goals…
Gordon Kiesgen (Spring Grove, Illinois) is now tied for 13th on the games played list with 31 and already holds the Monmouth records for most ground balls and most faceoffs won…The Scots will next be in action on Saturday with a 1 p.m. start at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
