The Monmouth College men's and women's swimming teams lost dual meets at Augustana College on Saturday afternoon. The women fell 183-34 and the men lost 187-23

Women

The women were third in the 200 yard medley relay. Jaidlyn Sellers (Tremont, Illinois), Lauren Johnson (Pekin, Illinois), Mady Gaus (Herscher, Illinois) and Kaitlyn Fox (Villa Park, Illinois) combined for a time of 2:11.03. 

Finishing third on the day were Fox in the 1000 freestyle (13:19.97) and Johnson in the 100 breaststroke (1:19.06). 

Nicole Fitch (Marengo, Illinois) placed fourth in the 500 freestyle (6:08.71) and Katie Oberheu (Fort Worth, Texas) took fourth in the 100 freestyle (1:05.08). Sellers placed fourth in the 100 butterfly (1:05.31), Gaus took fourth in the 200 IM (2:35.81) and Evelyn Schaefer (Stoughton, Wisconsin) was fourth in the 1000 freestyle (13:26.78).

Men

The men were third in the 200 yard medley relay. Finn Van Dyke (Lawrence, Kansas), Camden Schmidt (Washington, Illinois), Jayden Wilbon (Crown Point, Indiana) and Ethan Main (Oneida, Illinois) combined for a time of 1:52.85.

Brady Hild (Tremont, Illinois) finished third in the 1000 freestyle (12:11.7) and fourth in the 100 backstroke (1:05.29).

The Scots will next be in action at the Grinnell Invitational on Friday and Saturday in Grinnell, Iowa. The meet starts at 9 a.m both days.
