The Monmouth College golf teams competed at the IW Tiger Classic on Monday. Hosted by Iowa Wesleyan, the event took place the the Burlington Golf Club in Burlington, Iowa.
The Fighting Scots men's team finished eighth while the women did not record a team score on the par-72 course.
Ganon Greenman (Alpha, Illinois) had the best result on the men's side. His 4-over 76 finished in a tie for 10th place, four shots behind the leader.
Ryan Prusak (Oswego, Illinois) shot an 81 to finish tied for 24th.
Noah Shields (Rantoul, Illinois) finished 30th with an 82 while
Grant Foster (Galesburg, Illinois) tied for 36th with an 84.
Briggs Bossert (Evanston, Illinois) finished 48th with an 86 for the final slot on the Scots team scoring list.
DJ Reading (Monmouth, Illinois) carded an 88 and finished tied for 53rd.
Thomas Henson (Geneseo, Illinois) shot a 95 to finish tied for 61st and Nick Marseco (Highland Park, Illinois) was 64th with a 103.
On the women's side the Scots had two golfers on the course Monday.
Amanda Stevens (Mason City, Illinois) finished 18th with a 103.
Annalyn Lovell (Oneida, Illinois) was 25th with a score of 130. The winner in the women's event shot a 71.
The men will finish their fall season with a two-day event at Central College in Pella, Iowa on Oct.. 3-4. The women finish their fall season with the SLIAC Championships at The Rail Golf Course in Springfield, Illinois Oct. 8-10.
