The Monmouth College men's golf team played in the Augustana Invitational over the weekend, finishing in 24th place at Highland Springs Golf Course in Rock Island.

Ben Dobberstein (Oswego, Illinois) had the best result with a tie for 73rd individually. He shot a 79 on Friday and an 80 on Saturday for a 159. Ryan Prusak (Oswego, Illinois) was tied for 95th with a pair of 81 rounds.

Noah Shields (Rantoul, Illinois) finished with an 82 and an 84 to rank 111th. Maxwell Cook (Dunlap, Illinois) and Jimmy Johnson (Andalusia, Illinois) both  shot 176 at the event to finish tied for 133rd. 

The Scots didn't take a B team to the event and finished in 24th place with a team score of 662. Webster won the event with a team score of 584.

This weekend the golf teams head to Springfield for the Illinois College Classic at The Rail Golf Course. The Friday/Saturday event is the final regular season event before the SLIAC Conference Championships April 24-26 in Louisville, Kentucky.
