The Lady Blues were whistled for a technical foul and Osmulski made both free throws to give the Scots their first lead of the game with 1:15 to play.

Wall nailed a 3-pointer on the ensuing possession and the Scots forced a miss at the other end. Harlan's free throws gave Monmouth a 77-71 lead and after another miss, Morgan made a pair at the line for a 15-0 run and a 79-71 lead.
