The Monmouth College swimming teams competed in a dual meet at Illinois College on Saturday with a split on the day. The Fighting Scots men won their meet 100.5 to 58.5 while the women fell to IC 112 to 80. Meet Results 

On the men's side, the Scots had Tristan Kennon (Flossmoor, Illinois) and David Nino (Chicago, Illinois) win three total events. Both swam on the winning 400 Medley and 400 Freestyle relays. Kennon won the 200 Freestyle in 1:55.58 while Nino won the 200 Backstroke in 2:16.76. Kennon added a second place finish in the 200 Butterfly at 2:22.99. 

Ethan Main (Oneida, Illinois) swam on the 400 Medley relay and then won the 200 Breaststroke in 2:37.83. Main also finished second in the 400 Individual medley in 5:17.63. Finn VanDyke (Lawrence, Kansas) was also on the 400 Medley relay before winning the 100 Freestyle in 50.90. VanDyke took second in both the 200 Freestyle and the 50 Freestyle for four top-two finishes,

Brady Hild (Tremont, Illinois) and Jayden Wilbon (Crown Point, Indiana) also swam on the winning 400 Freestyle relay team. As an individual, Hild won the 1560 Freestyle race in 21:22.50.

The women picked up three individual wins while finishing second in both relays to the Lady Blues. Lauren Fulscher (Moline, Illinois) won the 100 Freestyle in 1:01.44 and finished second in the 200 Free at 2:16.25. Jaidlyn Sellers (Tremont, Illinois) won the 50 Freestyle in 26.43 and took second in the 200 Backstroke in 2:24.86. Nicole Fitch (Marengo, Illinois) won the 400 Individual Medley in 5:16.83 and finished second in the 500 Freestyle in 5:59.13. 

Mady Gaus (Herscher, Illinois) finished second in the 200 Butterfly in 2:41.39 while Katie Oberheu (Fort Worth, Texas) finished second in the 200 Breaststroke in 2:57.55. The second place Medley relay consisted of Sellers, Lauren Johnson (Pekin, Illinois), Fitch and Fulscher. The second place 400 Freestyle relay was Sellers, Gaus, Fitch, and Fulscher.

The Scots will be back home next Saturday with a 1 p.m. meet at Pepper Natatorium. Midwest Conference foes Illinois College and Grinnell College will both compete against Monmouth in the meet.
