Box Score The Monmouth College men's soccer team lost 2-1 at Beloit College on Saturday with a late goal as the decider. The Scots are now 3-10-2 overall, 1-5 in MWC play. 

The Scots got a first-half goal from Reid Sondgeroth (Mapleton, Illinois), his sixth of the season and second of the week. Nico Esparon (St. Denis, France) had an assist on the goal, his team-leading eighth of the season. 

Monmouth played most of the game with only 10 men as Zach Browning (Ogden, Utah) received a red card inside the first 20 minutes. The game was tied 1-1 at half and the Bucs took the lead on a header off a set piece late in the second half.

The Scots are next in action on Tuesday at Cornell with a 3:45 p.m. kickoff. Monmouth hosts Lawrence at 1 p.m. Saturday for Senior Day.
