Monmouth College rode their momentum coming out of doubles play to post a 5-4 win over the University of Northwestern-St. Paul in Friday's Florida getaway match.

Zach Harris eked out an 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles just after
Andrew Shie and
Brendan Guenther cruised by their No. 2 opponents 8-2.
Alex Martin and
Nicholas Robertson were downed at No. 3, 8-1.

The Scots had little trouble in the top half of the singles order.
Joseph Shie posted a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 1,
Andrew Shie rolled to a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 2 and Harris dropped just one game in a 6-0, 6-1 win as Monmouth clinched the match win. Guenther nearly picked up a No. 5 singles win, but was clipped in a three-set tiebreaker.
