Becca Gallis poured in a game-high 21 points in Saturday's 76-52 win over Beloit at Glennie Gym.

Yvonne Ornelas put Monmouth on top with a pair of free throws in the opening minute to set the tone as the Scots opened up a 16-12 first quarter lead. Monmouth stretched the lead to nine at 24-15 on
Kaitlyn Osmulski's bucket in the lane, but the Buccaneers kept the game in single digits for the remainder of the first half, closed out by two more Ornelas free throws.

Monmouth's defense took over in the second half, opening the third quarter with a 34-27 lead and expanding it to 23-point gap by the end of the period with a 56-33 lead after holding the Bucs to six points. The Scots' lead grew to as many as 33 in the final frame when
Tarae Warner's short jumper gave Monmouth a 74-41 lead.
