The Spartans broke free for 12 first half goals to put Monmouth in a hole. The Scots rallied early in the second half when
Kaelin Sommer and
Kara-Jade Gordon netted back-to-back goals. Green then notched her first two scores to pull the Scots within 12-4 before the Spartans shut down the offensive surge.
Olivia Matlock turned in an eight-save effort in the second half, holding Aurora to just four scores over the final 30 minutes.
