Kaelan Bradley picked up four hits on the day, but Monmouth couldn't hold down Dominican and Wartburg, falling 11-3 and 9-2 Tuesday in Clermont, Fla.
 
Dominican jumped on the Scots for four unearned runs in the first inning in the day's opener and added another four in the fourth. Monmouth had rallied back after the 4-0 first inning deficit when Bradley led off with a single and promptly stole second. Jessica Pauley's base hit with two outs gave the Scots their first run of the game. In the second, Allie Ramlo's double scored Brittney Enos who drew a walk to openthe inning. Bradley then picked up her second of three hits in the game to plate Ramlo, but that would be the end of the scoring for Monmouth. Zelinda Taylor took the loss, working three innings and giving up five hits before handing the ball over to Jenna Pauley in the fourth.
 
The Scot fell behind in the first inning of the late game with Wartburg 2-0, but cut the margin in half in the second. Savannah Ball stroked a double to score Alexis Opel as the Scots put four runners on in the second, but left the bases loaded. Hailey Rennick worked four innings and took the loss.
 
Monmouth meets Emmanuel and New England in Wednesday's games.
