Box Score 2 Monmouth's men's tennis team moved to 2-1 in the Midwest Conference after splitting a Saturday doubleheader in Wisconsin.
     
The Scots battled back to a 5-4 win over St. Norbert after being shutout at Lawrence. At St. Norbert, Monmouth's No. 1 doubles team of 
Joseph Shie and 
Zach Harris picked up an 8-5 win as the Scots headed into singles play down 2-1.
     
Monmouth swept the top four positions in singles in straight sets to clip the Green Knights after 
Alex Martin ground out a 7-5, 6-2 win at No. 4. Shie took his No. 1 match 6-3, 6-1 and Harris fought to a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 3. At No. 2, 
Andrew Shie dropped just three games in a 6-0, 6-3 win. 
Brendan Guenther and 
Nicholas Robertson at Nos. 5 and 6, respectively fell in straight sets.
     
The day began at Lawrence where only 
Joseph Shie and Harris went the maximum three sets in singles. Shie was clipped 6-2, 2-6, 10-8 while Harris fell 3-6, 7-6, 10-6.
     
The Scots return home April 6 to host Ripon and Lake Forest.
