Kaelan Bradley's homer to leadoff Game 2 proved to be the only run Monmouth would score as Illinois Wesleyan swept the Scots in Bloomington 8-0 and 4-1.
 
Bradley, who picked up two of the Scots' seven hits on the day, stroked her roundtripper to center after the team was held to three hits in the opener. The Titans pushed four runs across in the third inning of Game 1 and ended the game via the mercy rule with a solo score in the fifth. Monmouth threatened in the second, third and fourth innings with runners in scoring position, but couldn't find the key hit.
 
IWU used a three-run third in Game 2 to complete the sweep. After Bradley's leadoff homer, the Scots managed three more hits, but no runner advanced past first as the Titans held Monmouth in check.
 
Monmouth travels to Westminster for a 3 p.m. doubleheader in a game that was postponed form Mar. 12 due to field conditions.
