For the second time in as many games, Monmouth went overtime, and this time came away with a 68-64 win over St. Norbert to wrap up second place in the Midwest Conference standings.

Monmouth built an 11-point third quarter lead but the Green Knights roared back to trail 44-40 at the end of the period. Trailing for most of the game, the Knights took the lead on Olivia DeCleene's bucket inside with 3:10 to play for a 51-50 advantage. St. Norbert inched ahead 55-50 with 1:49 left but Monmouth rallied back to score the final five points of regulation, tying the game on
Carley Turnbull's layup with seven seconds left and sending the game into overtime.

The Scots held a 64-61 lead in overtime before DeCleene drained a 3-pointer with nine seconds on the clock. Monmouth followed with a timeout and took the lead on
Shayne Smith's layup. She then stole the inbounds pass and drove for the final layup as the horn sounded.

Turnbull led the Scots with 26 points while Kaitlyn Oslmulski came off the bench with 18 and Smith added 15.

Monmouth will meet Lake Forest in the first round of the MWC Tournament on Friday at Ripon. Despite the loss, St. Norbert advanced to the MWC field via a tiebreaker over Knox. The Knights meet the host Red Hawks on Friday.
