Monmouth wrapped up their Midwest Conference season winning two of their final three league matches after Sunday's 3-0 blanking of Beloit.

The Scots came back from a 16-11 deficit in Set 1 to eke out a 25-23 win as one of
Ashley Farris' eight kills on the day ended the opening set. Monmouth jumped out to a 15-7 lead in Set 2, ending the match on a
Riley Cook kill, one of 11 Cook winners on the day. Set 3 was a game of runs as the Scots roared out to a 20-9 lead, but had to hang on when the Buccaneers came back, reeling off six straight points, eventually closing the gap to 23-19 and then 24-21 before Farris drilled the match-winning kill.
Â
The final MWC win comes after a pair of 3-2 matches: a Thursday win at Knox and a Saturday loss to Grinnell. Monmouth concludes their season Nov. 1-2 at the Augustana Invitational.
