Monmouth took the first two sets and a jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the fourth set to hold the line against Iowa Wesleyan University Tuesday night, taking a 3-1 win in Iowa. It was the Scots' second 3-1 win over the Tigers in the span of a month.

The Scots took Sets 1 and 2 by 25-22 and 25-21 scores, but the Tigers roared back in Set 3 taking a 25-17 decision. Monmouth responded in the fourth set, running out to a 6-0 lead behind the serving of
Laura Dulee. Nursing a 23-22 lead, Dulee dumped a quick hitter over the next to regain the serve and push the Scots to a 24-23 lead. Monmouth then won the match on an Iowa Wesleyan attack error.

Monmouth continues their road trip Friday, jumping back into Midwest Conference play with a 7 p.m. match at Lake Forest.
