Monmouth took less than a minute in overtime to clip St. Norbert 3-2 in a rematch of Midwest Conference playoff teams from a season ago.

Kara-Jade Gordon scored the game-tying and game-winning goals for the Scots who moved to 1-1 in league play.
Jacie Reis had put the Fighting Scots on top with a Penalty Kick goal less than two minutes into the game but the Green Knights' Madalyn Sanderfoot knotted the game at 1-1 with a goal in the 24
th minute. She added her second goal of the game in the 52
nd minute to give St. Norbert a 2-1 lead.

With the game winding down and Monmouth trailing,
Ezzie Baltierra-Chavez found Gordon for the game-tying goal in the 83
rd minute. Monmouth mustered another shot just two minutes later, but
Makayla Shaw's blast was turned aside by Ally Magiera. The Knights then went on the attack, but two blasts in the final minute were stoned by Monmouth keeper
Kensey Arlt.

St. Norbert drew the first chance as the game moved into the extra session, but Monmouth took over possession when the shot sailed wide. Shaw then dished to Gordon on the counterattack as Gordon netted the game-winner at the 90:50 mark.

Monmouth's win stopped a three-game losing streak as the Scots host Beloit Sunday at 1:30 to wrap up the conference doubleheader weekend.
