Monmouth surrendered an early goal that proved to be enough for Central College as the Dutch edged the Scots 2-0 Tuesday at Peacock Memorial Athletic Park.
 
Central made good on an early corner kick en route to firing off 16 shots, but put just four on goal. The Dutch iced the game with an insurance goal in the 84^th minute to offset Monmouth's attack which put nearly half their shots on goal led by Augustin Miranda who put two of his three attempts on target.
 
The Scots travel to Dubuque next Tuesday.
