Lucas Sondgeroth scored both goals in a 2-1 win at Illinois Wesleyan Saturday night to even the Scots' record at 1-1 after a heartbreaking loss on Friday.
 
The Scots surrendered just one goal for the second straight game, but this time scored two to notch their first win of the season. All three of the game's goals came via Penalty Kicks, the first two by Sondgeroth. The junior blasted the first into the back of the net in the 15^th minute and added his second in the 70^th minute as Monmouth built a 2-0 lead. Cadan Glattback turned in a four-save effort in goal, but the Titans managed a PK score with six minutes left in the game to cut the gap, firing off 21 shots in the contest. Glattback made a stellar save on a header with five minutes left to preserve the win.
 
Monmouth returns home to begin a three-game home stand Wednesday at 5 p.m. with Millikin.
