Box Score A second quarter flurry damped Monmouth's chances of a road win in Saturday's 14-0 loss at Concordia (Wis.).
 
With their regular goalkeeper out of action, the Scots surrendered eight, second quarter goals to the Falcons. After giving up an early goal, Monmouth's defense kept CUW out of the cage until the final three minutes of the first quarter. The Falcons then gained the momentum with an early flurry of second quarter goals to pull away.
 
Monmouth resumes action next Wednesday with a 2:30 match at Concordia (Chicago).
