Box Score Monmouth put exactly half their shots in the cage, but couldn't quite outgun Loras in a 19-13 loss in Dubuque.

Kara-Jade Gordon led all scorers with seven goals on 14 shots.Her first got the ball rolling as the Scots came from a 3-0 deficit at the open to close to 4-3 at teh 20:16 mark on a score by Amanda Green. Goals by Gordon and Lexi Tibbs in the final 10 minutes of the first half kept the Scots within striking distance at 10-6. The Duhawks added a goal just before break to lead 11-6.

Gordon opened the second 30 minutes with a quick score and added back-to-back tallies in the final 10 minutes as the Scots began to rally. Trailing 16-8 with just under 15 minutes to play, Monmouth outscored Loras 5-3 down the stretch.

The Scots hit the road one last time Saturday, traveling to Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference leader Hamline for an 11 a.m. season-finale.
