Box Score Monmouth played goal-for-goal with Illinois Tech in the second half, but a six-goal first half deficit proved to be too much for the Scots in a 14-8 loss.

The Scots spotted the Scarlet Hawks a 5-0 lead before Kara-Jade Gordon netted her first of a team-high six goals. Gordon then assisted on Devin Cross' second career goal as Monmouth  kept he margin at four until the final eight minutes of the first half. After two early second half Tech goals upped IT's lead to 12-4, Gordon blasted three straight scored to cut the margin to 12-7, but that would be as close as the Scots would get as the teams traded goals over the final 10 minutes.

Monmouth closes out their home season this weekend, hosting Concordia (Chicago) on Saturday and Augsburg on Sunday.
