Kara-Jade Gordon scored first for the Scots, and after the Blukejays took a 2-1 lead,
Amanda Green notched the tying goal in the game's first eight minutes. Elmhurst then began to pull away with three unanswered goals en route to an 8-3 first half lead.

The teams played nearly even statistically as the Bluejays narrowly outshot the Scots 37-31 and took two more draw controls than the Scots.
Kaitlin Korf turned in a 14-save night, equaling her Bluejay counterpart in goal.
